How to Use

Make Fragrance Part of Your Ritual

Apply your attar according to the directions on the final retail label. Begin with a small amount and adjust only as desired. Keep the product away from the eyes and mouth, and do not ingest it.

01

Start with a small amount

Concentrated perfume oil is applied sparingly. Begin with a small amount and adjust only as desired.

02

Apply as directed

Follow the directions printed on the final retail label for how and where to apply the product.

03

Keep it away from eyes and mouth

Avoid contact with the eyes and mouth, and do not ingest the product.

04

Read the packaging first

Read the packaging before use and follow all stated precautions, including any storage instructions reproduced on this page.

Where concentrated oil is traditionally worn

Because concentrated perfume oil is applied by hand rather than sprayed, it is traditionally worn on pulse points — the inner wrists and the sides of the neck. Apply lightly and let the fragrance settle rather than rubbing it in.

  • Inner wrists
  • Sides of the neck
  • Behind the ears
  • The base of the throat

Always follow the directions on your final retail label where they differ from general guidance.

Looking after your bottle

Please follow the storage directions printed on the final product label. If the final packaging advises storing it in a cool, dry place and away from heat or flame, those directions may also be repeated here.

  • Store away from direct sunlight
  • Keep the cap closed when not in use
  • Keep away from heat or flame
  • Follow the label if it states otherwise
